The Course
The course starts out in front of Widewaters Marina located on the south side of the canal. The main course is a 24.14 mile “out and back” loop. Since the course is not a perfect 25 mile loop we will start the racers off on a short 1.72 mile out and back (3.44 mile loop) which takes them back to the start. From that point on 100 mile racers must complete 4 loops. 24 hour racers will follow the same route. This event will be chip timed and the 24 hour racer’s mileage will be prorated when the time expires between their last two aid station.
* Due to risks involved with this race we request that each athlete have some ultra experience prior to this race. (Provide proof at time of registration)
100 Mile racers must provide proof of finishing at least one 50 mile event prior to race day.
Course Aid
The first aid station is 6.5 miles out and the turn around is 5.57 miles further (12.07 miles from start). All three aid stations will be stocked with a variety of food and hot beverages. All three aid stations will be heated and have restrooms.
